Reproductions

Copying the works of master painters is a standard practice of teaching art in Western art schools. The artist used the method to develop his art skills. Though it started as a quest to decorate his house with artwork, the real windfall was reaped in the form of familiarity with the works and techniques of the titans of the craft!

In his quest to fill up his wall space with artwork, he accumulated a large collection of reproductions of Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, Paul Gauguin, and Paul Cézanne. Some of the works have now been donated to the gallery
